MAPUTO – Football enthusiast and religious leader Prophet Walter Magaya has further showed his commitment to the beautiful sport with the official opening of a new stadium in Mozambique.

Called the Heart Stadium 2, the football venue is located in Maputo, marking another significant milestone for the Yadah FC owner.

This comes after Prophet Magaya successful launched the first Heart Stadium in Zimbabwe last December.

The 5 000 capacitor which is being used by Yadah FC as it home ground in the Premier Soccer League, is situated at Magaya’s hotel in Waterfalls, Harare.

The news of the Heart Stadium 2 broke through a Facebook post on Prophet Magaya’s official account on Monday.

The Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) leader shared a video of the Heart Stadium 2 captioned: “For this, and for all you do, we bless your name Lord!

“By His grace we have established The Heart Stadium 2 in Maputo Mozambique.

“We shall continue to press forward with the good work that God has mandated us to do and we shall always invest in the betterment of our people.”

This development comes six months after Magaya unveiled another Heart Stadium in Zimbabwe.

The stadium was commissioned by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in December 2023.

Details surrounding the Heart Stadium 2 remain undisclosed, particularly its capacity and whether it will be used to host Mozambique’s top flight league.
