    Minister Mavetera Champions Digitalize Zimbabwe at Mashonaland West ICT Expo

    Minister Tatenda Mavetera, in partnership with Video Promotions, is set to bring the Digitalize Zimbabwe program to Mashonaland West province following a successful launch earlier this year in Domboshava.

    The Mashonaland West Provincial Expo and Digitalize Zimbabwe launch promises to be a pivotal event in Zimbabwe’s technological landscape, slated to take place at the Karoi Anglican Church on the 6th of July, 2024. Preparations are currently underway for this significant event.

    This initiative, under the auspices of the Ministry of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, spearheaded by Hon. Dr T.A Mavetera, aims to showcase the latest advancements in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) while promoting digital literacy and innovation across the region.

    The event is expected to attract distinguished guests representing the government, private sector, and academia, all set to grace the occasion with their presence.

    The expo will feature a diverse range of exhibitors and engaging activities, offering a platform for stakeholders to connect, learn, and collaborate on the nation’s digital future.

    Arrival and preparation of exhibitors.

    09:00 – 10:00

    Address by Minister Mavetera and Mashonaland West Minister, Honorable Chombo

    10:00 – 16:30
    Activations and giveaways from various organizations, including PowerTel, PRAZ, the Judiciary, ZUPCO, the Ministry of Health, Chinhoyi University, the Immigration Department, Chemplex, TSCZ, the Deeds Office, the Ministry of Energy, CP Chemicals, and Zimparks.
